are all listed at Wartling Hill, Wartling, Sussex, so it seems most likely that Harriet was born in Wartling.
On the 1881 census, Benjamin, a 40-year-old grocer, his 36-year-old wife Harriet and
their four children were at Cottage in Ninfield, Sussex. On the 1891 census, Benjamin, now aged 48, is still a grocer
(employer) and is listed at Front Road, Ninfield, Sussex with his wife Harriett, two children and a servant EMILY MORRIS.
Harriett is lsited as an employee and son Fred as a grocer (employee) so they both presumably worked in the family
grocery business.
On the 1901 census, Benjamin is still a grocer and Harriet is a draper. They are listed, with their son
Frederick and daughter Florence in Ninfield, Sussex.
