and the witnesses were Harriet Bourne and Ann Bourne (presumably the bride's sisters) and John Maynard

THOMAS BOORMAN was born on 8th August 1810 and baptised on 2nd September 1810 in Burwash, Sussex
(source : Mandy Willard). He was the son of Edward Boorman (1784-1858) and Charlotte King (1786-1859)

At the baptisms of his children (between 1833 and 1846), he was described as a Labourer of Burwash

On the 1841 census, Thomas and Charlotte with children Thomas, Edgar, Isabella and Charles are in Burwash, Sussex.
On the 1851 census, Thomas and Charlotte with children Thomas, Isabella, Charles, Frederick, Naomi and Charlotte
are at Withernden, Burwash, Sussex. On the 1861 census, Thomas and Charlotte with children Frederick,
Naomi, Charlotte, Emma, Henry and Susanna are at Snape Hood Stream, Wadhurst.
On the 1871 census, Thomas and Charlotte with children Henry and Susanna, and 1-year-old grand daughter Flora Boorman
are at Pell Bridge, Wadhurst, Sussex. On the 1881 census, Charlotte (67-year-old "labours widow", born in Brightling)
and her 11-year-old granddaughter Flora Boorman (Boorman misspelt as Boonnan for both of them) are at
Whiligh Dodge K Cottage in Ticehurst, Sussex.
On the 1891 census, Charlotte Boorman and her 21-year-old granddaughter Flora Boorman are at Wadhurst Town.
Thomas died, aged 70 years, and was buried on 12th March 1881 in Wadhurst, Sussex (source : Mandy Willard).
Charlotte died, aged 80 years, in Rotherfield and was buried on the 16th June 1893 in Wadhurst, Sussex
