one of the witnesses to his mother-in-law's remarriage to WILLIAM TAPPENDEN (source :
marriage register, courtesy of Janet Todd).
On the 1881 census, William, a 44-year-old grocer and Elizabeth (listed as Eliza)
are with two of their children, 15-year-old Kate and 12-year-old William, at
35 Gt Queen St in Dartford, Kent.
