He married ELIZA BURBRIDGE in September quarter 1859 (source : Ancestry England and Wales, Civil Registration Index, county Kent, volume 2a, page 482). She was born circa 1838 in Boughton Malherbe, Kent (source : 1871 and 1881 census).

On the 1871 census, George (41, farmer of 190 acres employing 3 men and 2 boys), his wife ELIZA (33), seven children and a number of servants are at Park House, Boughton Malherbe, Kent, just next door to brother RICHARD OFFEN.

On the 1881 census, George, a 50-year-old Farmer of 147 Acres Employing 1 Labourer, his wife Eliza, five sons, two daughters and a grandson are all listed at Marlow Farm in Lenham, Kent. The 7-year-old grandson FREDERICK GEORGE BARTRIDGE would suggest that they had an elder daughter, whose married name was BARTRIDGE. Kelly's 1891 Directory of Kent, Surrey & Sussex also lists GEORGE OFFEN, farmer, at Marlow Farm, Lenham, Kent.

On the 1901 census, George, a 71-year-old farmer and four of his sons are together in Lenham, Kent. HARRIET OFFEN (53, born Kent Lenham, Housekeeper domestic), his cousin, is with them (source : 1901 census index, household needs checking).

George died in 1908 in Hollingbourne reg district (source : Collette Kendall).

    GEORGE EDWIN OFFEN (baptised in 1897 in Lenham, married his cousin (see below) AGNES IVY OFFEN (born 1906 in Lenham) in 1924 in Hollingbourne) (source : Collette Kendall).
    On the 1901 census, Edwin, a 36-year-old teamster on farm, his wife MINNIE (31, born Doddington Kent), and their three children Amy (7), Edith (5) and George (4) (all born in Lenham, Kent) are all in Lenham, Kent (source : 1901 census index, household needs checking).

  5. AVERY OFFEN was born circa 1866 in Boughton Malherbe, Kent (source : Collette Kendall). On the 1871 census, aged 4, he was listed at home with his parents and family at Park House, Boughton Malherbe, Kent. On the 1881 census, age 14 and named ANERY (no occupation given, neither farm labourer nor scholar), he was listed at home with his parents and family at Marlow Farm in Lenham, Kent. He died in 1917 in Wellesborough (source : Collette Kendall). On the 1901 census, listed as HENRY, he was a 34-year-old farmer's son, with his father and brothers in Lenham, Kent.

On the 1881 census, he was a 12-year-old scholar, listed at home with his parents and family at Marlow Farm in Lenham, Kent. On the 1901 census, he was a 32-year-old farmer's son, listed with his father and brothers in Lenham, Kent. He married ADA MATILDA BUSHROD (born circa 1880) in 1903 in Maidstone, Kent (source : Collette Kendall). Charles died in 1919 in Eastling and Ada died in 1922 (source : Collette Kendall). They had two children,
