Highworth parish registers, held at the Wiltshire County Records Office, list a baptism for THOMAS PAGE, on Christmas
Day, 25th December 1815, to parents RICHARD PAGE, labourer, and SARAH ? of Westrop, Highworth, Wilts (source : Highworth parish registers,
courtesy of David Schweizer).
He married ANN ? before 1841, as they were married on the 1841 census,
and presumably before 1835 when SARAH PAGE was born. She was born circa 1816 in Sussex (source : 1841 census)
or circa 1813 in Beckley, Sussex (source : 1851 and 1871 censuses). There is a marriage registered for
THOMAS PAGE and ANN CATT on 1st December 1831 at St Helen's Church, Ore, Sussex,
which may be them (source : St Helen's parish records,

On the 1841 census,
he was a 30-year-old brickmaker, living in Standens Road, Ore, Hastings, with his wife and children. Thomas's father
RICHARD PAGE was also a brickmaker (source : Highworth Parish Register, his daughter Ann's baptism). On the 1851 census,
he was a 44-year-old “ag. lab.” living in Ore Down, Hastings, with his wife and children. On the 1861 census,
Thomas (55, agricultural labourer, birthplace not known), wife Anna (55, born Beckley Sussex), and children
Thomas (unmarried, 23, brickmaker), William (15, ag labourer), Jane (13, scholar), John (scholar, 10),
Matilda (8, scholar) and Alfred (5, scholar)
are at 1 Hays Place, Ore, Sussex.
On the 1871 census, Thomas
(65, builder's labourer, born Iworth Wiltshire), his wife Ann (59, labourer's wife) and children are in Middle Road,
Ore, Sussex. Their son Albert and family are just a few doors along.
On the 1881 census,
he is a 75-year-old general labourer, living at Middle Road, 2 Hays Place, Ore, Sussex, with his wife and family.
Thomas appears to have died in Hastings in September quarter 1891, aged 85 (Free BMD : district Hastings volume 2b page 9).
There is a death listed for 82-year-old ANN PAGE in September quarter 1895 in Hastings, which may be her
(source : Free BMD, district Hastings, volume 2b, page 8).
